Tullamore U 17s overcome Barnhall
U17s LEINSTER CUP Round 1.

Tullamore got their cup campaign off to a great start by defeating a Barnhall side that had beaten them in the Leinster Premier League earlier in the season.
Johnny Brophy and David Fennell scored a try each in the first half with Pietro Scarnicchio converting one . Barnhall replied with a penalty to leave the hosts 12 – 03 up at half time.
David Fennell extended the lead early in the second half with a try and Barnhall replied with a penalty kick. Barnhall scored a try from a maul following a linout near the end but the home side were deserving winners.
Leon Martin was the man of the match but everyone who played made an impact on the day. Tullamore are at home to Balbriggan on the last weekend of the month in the next round.
