LEINSTER LEAGUE DIVISION 1 - Tullamore gave their third excellent away performance in a row with this win over one-time leaders of the league. It is a pity that so few traveled to this north Dublin venue to witness this gutsy and spirited display.
The match against Portlaoise last Sunday was postponed due to a frozen pitch for this 12.30pm game.It will probably be fixed for this Sunday but at the time of writing this report there is no decision.
It is with deep regret and sorrow that Tullamore Rugby Club advise of the death of our lifelong member and friend OLIVER McGLINCHEY. Oliver was involved in the club for over 70 years and held every office and position in the club on more than one occasion.
What should have been a routine win against an Enniscorthy side that had not won a league match this season turned out to be hard work against a stubborn visiting team to Spollenstown on Sunday last.
